We're inching closer to the release of Screaming Females' Rose Mountain on February 24th. The band have been teasing us with singles for a while now; and, yesterday, they released a live performance video for Rose Mountain track "Ripe."
The Lance Bangs-directed clip features the band in a live studio setting. I'm not sure if it's the contrast or noise reduction or what, but the video has this silky smooth look to it that I find really appealing. I also like that they went with the actual sound from the session rather than having the band play to the album track.
It looks great and sounds awesome, but I'm still waiting for the footage from the Asbury Lanes show back in November. I was front and center for that one, and Allyson tried her darndest to get the CoolDad Music t-shirt into some shots.
Well, this will more than hold me over until then.
