New Single from Seaside Caves. Playing Asbury Park Brewery on Saturday, 3/10.

"Rage"

Seaside Caves, whose Hope was one of our favorite albums of 2017, are back with a new single today. The band recorded "Rage" at the home of drummer James Sefchek. Sefchek says of the track, "We feel it captures our latest live sound."

And he's right about that. "Rage" has all the epic sweep of a Seaside Caves live performance. It's a beautiful bit of neu-wave pop; and it's full of that sense of longing that's present in a lot of Seaside Caves. Here, it's a desire to feel some shared emotion other than anger.
