Are You a Fan of The Walking Dead?

It's been a long, cold, lonely winter. While the extended forecast shows some pretty cold temperatures still on the horizon, it's beginning to feel like we're in the home stretch. There are a few interesting shows this weekend to help celebrate the coming end to our long, cold nightmare.

Asbury Lanes has the quirky, Seattle power pop of Cumulus with support from The Battery Electric, Underwater Country Club, and Boyd USA tonight. Thomas Wesley Stern bring their brand of New Jersey folk to ~~the Berkeley~~ Asbury Park Yacht Club.

Here's an interesting one, especially for huge fans of The Walking Dead, like me: Emily Kinney, who plays the alternately optimistic and cold Beth Greene, comes to The Saint tonight along with Samantha Aurelio, The Ocean Heirs, Lily Marie, and Spy Kiss. I'll admit that Ms. Kinney's association with my favorite show initially drew my interest, but I did take the time to check out her music. She possesses a beautifully sweet voice and some definite songwriting ability.

Tomorrow night finds Reggie and The Full Effect along with NJ duo Dads and Pentimento at The Lanes. The always fun Ribeye Brothers are at The Brighton along with The Drive Home and F-Bombers supporting Cheap Time.

It's been more than a week since I've gotten myself out to a show (!!!), so look for me tonight. Come say, "Hi." I'll buy you a beverage.
