A Plea from The Clef: A Folk Punk Thanksgiving 11/29 at Village Coffee

The Clef's Luke and Emma are looking for a little help this weekend.

Tell Your Friends

You may have seen them in the listings here from time to time. Our young and industrious friends of The Clef -- Luke and Emma -- have been booking shows for the last little while at Wall's Village Coffee. They turn a simple coffee shop into a welcoming DIY music venue for touring acts and, importantly, attendees of all ages.

There are costs associated with keeping a business open after its normal hours, though, and Village Coffee is currently weighing those costs against the revenues brought in by the shows. The Clef's Luke Henderiks issued a plea earlier today via Facebook to help demonstrate that shows like this can work in the space:

So, this upcoming holiday weekend, if you, your aunt, your grandpa, and your strangely creepy cousin are looking for something to do and you'd all like to support a great all-ages, booze-free option for touring bands and the young creatives in our midst, then consider heading to Village Coffee in Wall for some coffee and folk punk

OK. Maybe leave without telling your strangely creepy cousin.
