December is a busy, busy month here at CoolDad Music HQ. We're an interfaith family, so the kiddos get both Hanukkah and Christmas. This will be the third night of Hanukkah, and it coincides with:

Tonight's big event is the 22nd annual Asbury Music Awards hosted by Taylor Allen. There are something like 40 categories, and CoolDad Music is nominated in two of them. Eastbourne, Hot Blood, Negative Sky, The Battery Electric, Lords of Mercy, Deal Casino, Matt Wade, Francis Lombardi, Bobby Mahoney and The Seventh Son, and Sofia Nicole perform. I'll be there, but not until we've given CD #2 a proper celebration.
Also on Thursday, Pat DiNizio continues his series of free shows at Langosta. Holiday Express do their annual holiday benefit at The Basie.
Friday night sees Lost In Society celebrating their 10th anniversary at Asbury Lanes with White Wives, American Pinup, How We Make Mistakes, and Jeff Luke. The Dickies return to The Brighton with Night Birds, F-Bombers, KNIF, Sex Zombies, and Hot Blood. Ropetree open for Buckcherry at Starland. Quincy Mumford and The Reason Why do their annual holiday thing at The Stone Pony. Six Ten Bangs hosts Emperor X, Have A Good Season, Those Corn People, and Teenage Halloween.
Anthony Raneri comes to Asbury Lanes with help from Chris Brown on Saturday. The Brighton hosts a second benefit for Jacko Monahan. Dave Hause is at Court Tavern with Jared Hart, Rocky Catanese and The Chapter, Chris Batten and The Woods, and Monterey. Tyler, The Creator comes to Starland. Nicole Atkins holds her own holiday show at The Stone Pony.
On Sunday -- Don't forget. CoolMom's Birthday! -- The Brighton hosts another punk legend with Agnostic Front. They get help from Huge, Negative Traction, Negative Sky, and Mass Punishment. Little Dickman Records present their last show for a while with "5 Bands You Should Know" at Six Ten Bangs featuring Corrina, Corrina, The Off White, Psychiatric Metaphors, Grand Mariner, and Teenage Halloween.
