Premiere: First Single from Quality Living's S/T Debut with Sniffling Indie Kids

"Amber Sun"

New Jersey label Sniffling Indie Kids doesn't waste any time. Earlier this month, they introduced Ringwood's Quality Living as the newest member of their growing stable of bands. At the same time, Sniffling Indie Kids announced that the band's self-titled debut would be out on July 22nd. They made the right call by getting the album out so quickly. Quality Living is a summer record if ever there was one, and single "Amber Sun" illustrates that as much as any of the songs on the album.

The sextet of Albert Chua, Ben Oliveira, Chris Nova, Darrel Norrell, George Serr, and Joe Caravaglia started life as morning... but have since renamed themselves Quality Living. On "Amber Sun," staccato guitars, bouncing rhythms, and an easygoing vibe place the band somewhere at the intersection of Real Estate and Steely Dan. "Windows down," "sun," "salt from swimming," "sleep it off." This is a song for memories of warm summer nights.

Stream "Amber Sun" below, and look for Quality Living when it comes out on July 22nd. The band celebrate with a release show on July 30th at Hansil's Bar & Grill in Oakland, New Jersey. That show also features Adam and The Plants, Delicate Flowers, Fortune Yeller, and LKFFCT.
