NGHTCRWLRS closed out last night's Asbury Park / New Brunswick "Scenes Collide" showcase at The Stone Pony. The North Jersey quartet were representing New Brunswick and played to a crowd determined enough to brave winter's last gasp and stick around for the final band.
The band released their self-titled debut at the end of last month and closed out last night's proceedings with "Reclusive Me" from that record. NGHTCRWLRS' sound is a combination of post-hardcore and indie rock, and they released all of the pent-up frustration of a too-long winter during the evening's last song. Singer / guitarist Eric Goldberg had just come back from Jamaica to this. It had to be a shock.
Check out their performance below, and check back here later for pictures of the other bands I was able to catch.
