The Battery Electric Cover Eagles of Death Metal for The Sweet Stuff Foundation

"I Love You All the Time"
Following the recent coordinated terrorist attacks on Paris that took the lives of 130 people including their own merchandise manager, Nick Alexander, Eagles of Death Metal began a campaign to raise funds via The Sweet Stuff Foundation. The band asked artists of all genres to cover their track "I Love You All the Time" with all proceeds going to victims' families.
"Do you mind if we test something out on you?" asked The Battery Electric's Ron Santee during their late set at The Saint on Saturday. The crowd obliged, and the band did their rendition of "I Love You All the Time," promising that they'd be recording it in the next day or so. Well, it just so happens that the big-hearted Battery boys went into Coffee Haüs Studios yesterday to lay down their version of the song and help the victims of Paris. The band put their own high-octane spin on the track, which you can stream and purchase via this link RIGHT HERE.
The horrors of this world touch people everywhere -- from Paris to Beirut to San Bernardino and beyond; but peace-loving people around the world need to stick together to bring a little light during what can seem like some pretty dark times.

Live @ Coffee Haüs Studios Kicks Off Season 2 w/ The Fossils, Grey Goes Black

Freehold's Coffee Haüs Studios launched their second season of Live @ Coffee Haüs Studios yesterday with a pair of sessions from New Jersey Bands.
Asbury Park's The Fossils got the high-quality audio / video treatment, performing three selections of their blues-influenced, heavy alt-rock.
Grey Goes Black did a set of their brooding dark wave. Drummer / electro wiz, Stephen Moraghan, even sports some snappy duds during the band's session.
Check out both sessions, and make sure to give Coffee Haüs Studios a like to keep up with new sessions as they go live.

Black Flamingos Live at Coffee Haus Studios

I got to see Black Flamingos for the first time as part of the Little Dickman Records' show at The Brighton Bar last night. A power trio featuring Bog Iron Bloom's Declan O'Connell, The Brigantines' Vincent Minervino, and Plato Zorba's surf guitar virtuoso Robert Butkowski, Black Flamingos offered up some instrumental surf jams to close an evening that served as both a debut for Groundskeeper and a college send-off for Corrina, Corrina. Even though the band claimed just to be jamming and having fun, they pretty much blew me away.
Recently, Black Flamingos did a live session at Freehold's Coffee Haus Studios, and released a video for "The Devil's Punch Bowl." Check that out below to get an idea of what Black Flamingos are all about.
You've got another chance to catch Black Flamingos live this Friday when they play a free show at Asbury Park Yacht club with Creeptones.
