"A Ballad From Hell"
Couch By Couchwest 2014 is going strong, and bands can still submit videos until noon on March 15th. New Jersey's Those Mockingbirds visited Boston and, for their 2014 submission, did a haunting acoustic version of single "A Ballad From Hell" in The Venetia Fair's living room.
I mentioned the other day that Couch By Couchwest is a great way to discover new music, and Those Mockingbirds are just the kind of band on the rise that you can hope to encounter if you "attend" the festival. Couch by Couchwest Starts Today
As things start to get revved up in Austin for that annual music conference they do down there, Couch by Couchwest has already begun.
Starting today and running through March 15th, the online music festival features video performances made exclusively for CXCW by bands and artists from all over the world. It's a great way to discover new music while not having to purchase plane tickets, make hotel reservations, or use up vacation days. Artists can submit performances up until 12 noon ET on March 15th; and festival organizers encourage the audience to submit photos, recipes, videos, etc. showing the ways in which they're enjoying the show.
