Regional PrideDespite what Lou Barlow thinks of regional pride, I'm often guilty of it. Last night presented an excellent opportunity for me to revel in geographic connections as The So So Glos (Bay Ridge, Brooklyn-born, just like me) and The Everymen (pride of the Jersey Shore) joined forces at Maxwell's in Hoboken last night.

As my friend and I chatted with Alex Levine of The So So Glos on the way out, he was quick to point out that there are plenty of lousy people in great places and vice versa. I agree whole-heartedly, but it's still fun to talk to someone you don't really know about the places and experiences that you have in common.
