Back in June, I did a review of the upcoming Loveless: Hurts to Love by Kenny Feinstein, frontman of Portland, Oregon indie-bluegrass group Water Tower. On his solo debut, Feinstein covers My Bloody Valentine's 1991 Loveless (plus Tremolo's "Swallow") in its entirety using acoustic instruments. The result is pretty amazing.
As we near the September 17th release date of the record, it's time to check out some of the music. This will also just add to my own excitement about seeing My Bloody Valentine in less than two weeks at FYF.
Stream Feinstein's "Loomer" below. And, to all you hardcore MBV fans out there, let me know what you think.
