Philadelphia's Free Energy -- whose 2013 Love Sign, with its cowbell and slick production, sounds like it could have topped the pop rock charts sometime back in the mid 80's -- have made their faithful rendition of Jackson Browne's "Somebody's Baby" available for free download via their Soundcloud.
This cover is so faithful that, when I hear it, I can't help but think about the ill-fated tryst between Stacey and Mike Damone out in the pool house. I never understood why Mark Ratner forgave that slimy weasel.
