"Turn Your Color"
Brooklyn's The Men have a habit of issuing new releases in quick succession. On October 15th, the band will be following up March's New Moon with a new EP, Campfire Songs. Consisting of five tracks, all recorded around a campfire, Campfire Songs includes re-imaginings of New Moon tracks "I Saw Her Face" and "The Seeds" along with some new songs.
"Turn Your Color" is the first of those new tracks. It opens with the sounds of crackling flames and proceeds through a mostly instrumental, eerie, appropriate for October six minutes.
And, lucky us, Campfire Songs comes out a bit more than a week before we get to see The Men, along with Purling Hiss, live in the friendly confines of The Saint on October 23rd.
Campfire Songs will be out on October 15th via Sacred Bones.
