On Saturday night, at the Screaming Females / Waxahatchee show at Asbury Lanes, a friend decided to test my fandom.
"Quick, CoolDad. Name all the Crutchfield bands."
"Waxahatchee, The Ackleys, Bad Banana, P.S. Eliot, Swearin'... ...and Great Thunder!"
Those are all the ones I know about anyway. What can I say? Both Crutchfield sisters are doing stuff I love right now.
Allison Crutchfield's band with Keith Spencer and Kyle Gilbride, Swearin', released another track today from their upcoming Surfing Strange LP, which is due next month. They're keeping the streak alive.
I'm looking forward to this one.
