The Battery Electric got snowed out the last time they were supposed to play Langosta.

Well, Snow, For One Thing

Trying something new here. Every week, starting on about Wednesday, I browse around the web and Facebook to see what's going on in the area that I may want to go see. I'm constantly trying to think of stuff to post here, so I figured, "Why don't I just write down all the stuff that I come up with and share it all in one place?"

It seems like the kind of thing I can compile ahead of time and schedule for Fridays, and I think it could be kind of useful. So I'll try to do this each week. This is my first one, so I'm sorry if I missed anything. Going forward, if you know of something that you'd like to see listed here (or if I got any details wrong), just email me or message me or do whatever it is you kids do nowadays. Try to do it by Thursday, I guess. I can do one-off posts for anything going on during the week, so send me those, too.

Lots of cool stuff this weekend, including JerseyRock Maria Mar's Punch Out Cancer benefit at The Saint on Saturday. Little Dickman Records recording artists The Battery Electric, Wreaths, and TV Tramps all have local shows this weekend. And you can go over to Asbury Lanes to help celebrate Mike's birthday.

That is if the snow doesn't end up canceling any of this. We'll see. Have fun. If you see me, come say hi. I'll buy you a beverage.
