Can I Do This Every Day?

So I was having kind of a hectic, crappy day. I'm sure I wasn't the only one, but it was starting to wear on me. My noon meeting was particularly uncomfortable.

Then this happened:

I was part of a group of, maybe, a dozen or so people that got to see Sharon Van Etten do a short, lunchtime set at The Stone Pony this afternoon. Her rendition of Bruce Springsteen's "Drive All Night" caused a bit of a lump in my throat and turned out to be just what I needed. Afterwards, I did all my school / dance class pickups / drop-offs, and the rest of my meetings -- I even made dinner! -- with an energy I didn't know I still had.

I love music.
