St. Paddy's Day Weekend
St. Patrick's Day (or St. Paddy's Day, but NEVER St. Patty's Day!) is almost upon us, and this weekend offers several opportunities to go out and celebrate with some good music and your beverage of choice.
Hub City Stompers and an army of friends are back at Asbury Lanes. Moon Motel brings an evening of music, poetry and free copies of his latest release, Live For No One, to Asbury Park Yacht Club. Cranston Dean will be celebrating the release of his Tried & True at The Saint. And Black 47, who will be retiring in 2014, are playing their last-ever Stone Pony show.
On Saturday, The Lanes hosts the rescheduled Northern Faces show which features other NJ favorites like Owel, Chemtrail, and Gay Guy / Straight Guy. River City Extension lead guitarist John Muccino will be bringing his jazzy piano stylings to Langosta Lounge.
So go out and have some fun. My advice, though: Don't drink anything green that doesn't come that way naturally.
