Paper Streets Share a New Track, Playing Brighton Bar on Thursday

"Temporary White"

Our good buddies in Paper Streets took kind of a mini hiatus there for a while. They've come back strong over the last few months, though, playing more shows -- including a really good opening set for Cymbals Eat Guitars -- and getting into the studio. The band have a new EP in the can "to be released very soon." To hold everyone over until then, Paper Streets took to their basement studio to record new track "Temporary White."

The song draws on some of Paper Streets' big influences like Modest Mouse, but there's a definite post-punk vibe thrown in with that prominent bass line.

You can catch Paper Streets live and local this Thursday when they play The Brighton Bar with Candy Hearts, Back & Forth, and Gin War. I'll see you there.
