Merry Boxing Day! I hope Santa was good to you. Time to start working off that Christmas dinner.

Tonight starts The Bouncing Souls' big Home for the Holidays Weekend. All shows look to be sold out, so good luck wrangling your way inside. Friday's show at The Stone Pony has BANE, Blanks 77, and Morning Glory helping out The Bouncing Souls. Afterwards, Asbury Lanes hosts the after party featuring Smalltalk and Dark Blue.

There's lots of other stuff on Friday, too. Mars Needs Women come to The Brighton. EdTang & The Chops do a free show at Langosta. It's Tony Jaw's Jawliday party at Six Ten Bangs with The Battery Electric, The Vansaders, Hot Blood, and more. The Wonder Bar has another Asbury Unplugged with Jeff Luke, Doug Zambon, Colton Kayser, Chris Brown, and more.

On Saturday, The Van Pelt, None More Black, and The Scandals join The Bouncing Souls for night 2 at The Pony. Spraynard and the amazing Cayetana do the after party at The Lanes. Thomas Wesley Stern are at Langosta. Taking Back Sunday play the first of their own two, sold out holiday shows at Starland with The Menzingers and Modern Chemistry. Hot Blood open for a solo Andrew W.K. at GameChanger World. Foxanne, Monterey, Rewind the Crisis, Paris Under Fire, and Marguerito hit The Meat Locker in Montclair.

Daytime events on Saturday include the Happy Hour Art Opening at Asbury Lanes and another installment of the Asbury Park Punk Rock Flea Market at Convention Hall.

The Bouncing Souls close things out on Sunday with help from Jesse Malin, franklero, and Seaside Caves at The Pony. Asbury Lanes has Worriers and Roger Harvey & The Wild Life for the after party. Taking Back Sunday play with Modern Baseball and Have Mercy to another sold out Starland. The Clef brings another show to Village Coffee featuring T.Gunn, Greg McCruden, Weird And Wonderful Words, Ryan Pratt, Abigail Adams, Arts+Crafts, and Benjamin Greer.

It's holiday break week, so there are some other good shows coming up mid-week that I'll tell you about later (Television!!). Have fun.
