Bouncing Souls Playing Starland w/ Andrew Jackson Jihad, Screaming Females, and Seaside Caves on July 17th

Jersey Punks United! Arizona, Too!

I saw this yesterday and got pretty damn excited. As Gentleman Jim said to me upon hearing the news, it's "Old School New Brunswick meets the next generation." New Jersey punk heroes, The Bouncing Souls, will be joined by current New Brunswick standard-bearers, Screaming Females, for a July 17th blowout at Starland that also features Andrew Jackson Jihad and Asbury Park dark wavers Seaside Caves.

It's also a union for two of our favorite NJ punk labels in the Bouncing Souls' own Chunksaah imprint -- new home to Seaside Caves -- and Screaming Females' home-base, Don Giovanni Records.

The politically aware folk-punk of Phoenix's Andrew Jackson Jihad just makes this a bill that's solid from top to bottom.

Tickets are on sale now; and I'm not sure how long they'll last.
