Voltdirection, the new project of John Herguth and Alicia Testa, made their debut last night after the Asbury Park fireworks at The Paramount Theatre's upstairs bar. The duo's dark, electronic sounds tap into some of the sounds of my youth as well as something modern and fresh. Now that they've broken the ice with their first live performance, perhaps we can expect to see them a few more times throughout the summer.
