Bordentown's Roy Orbitron were at Asbury Lanes last Wednesday, May 6th, opening for White Reaper. The warm weather and the sea air have exerted an eastward pull on the band, and this was just the first of several upcoming area appearances for them.
Also on that Wednesday night bill were Glycerine Queens. Singer / guitarist Cynthia Rittenbach appears on Roy Orbitron's Elston Allen Gunnn, so I was pretty sure we'd get to see her on stage with the band. Sure enough, Cynthia joined Roy Orbitron for their final song of the evening, "Pastoral." The waltz is, by far, the slowest and most low-key part of Roy Orbitron's set; and it works nicely as a closer.
