"Fatal Flaw"
Today, Titus Andronicus released the video for The Most Lamentable Tragedy track and live show-stopper "Fatal Flaw." The video is a montage of live performances including at least a couple that yours truly attended. I believe we get some footage from the #SEVENSEVENINCHES release show at Shea Stadium as well as plenty of shots featuring that holiest of holy places, Asbury Lanes. See if you can't spot me.
TMLT is set to be a 29-song rock opera dealing with manic depression, and "Fatal Flaw" hits on a recurring theme for Patrick Stickles: The analogy between using medically prescribed drugs and being an addict or a junkie. The song, quite frankly, rocks and isn't the downer that its themes might imply. During live performances, Stickles usually puts his guitar aside and heads out to the edge of the stage, dancing back and forth and bringing the crowd along for the ride.
