dollys Are Starting Their Tour at Asbury Lanes on Wednesday, 9/23, and Releasing Two More Songs

"I Know" / "Imitator"

In what seems like the really short time since the release of the excellent Oh Please, dollys have kept up the pace by consistently doling out new music. The band continue that trend when they release two new songs this Wednesday.

Like their previous work, "I Know" and "Imitator" are products of Lakehouse Recording Studios and showcase the trio's facility with some of the different classic sounds of pop music. "I Know" has the feel of some, maybe, 70s AM radio pop; while "Imitator" goes the 90s power pop route (I keep thinking Veruca Salt or something when I hear it.). Both songs will be available as, once again, free downloads from dollys' Bandcamp page on Wednesday, September 23rd. "I Know" also gets the video treatment with an Anthony Yebra clip shot on the beach in Asbury Park.

dollys will be celebrating the release as well as kicking off their fall tour with a show on Wednesday night at Asbury Lanes. Joining them on the bill are The Cold Seas, Goodbye Tiger, and Hodera. Opening the show will be Bradley Cooper, a hard rock group consisting of members of dollys and Deal Casino.
