Lowlight on Carriage House TV

Episode VI

I've mentioned Carriage House TV here a couple of times before. Just as a refresher, some of our friends from waaaay out west in Bordentown, NJ have put together a web series highlighting New Jersey bands and some of the spots around historic Bordentown. In the latest episode, Steve Sachs sits down with Renee Maskin from Lowlight to discuss some of the themes that run -- or wander -- through her songs.

Lowlight also perform two songs, "Bones" and "Dirt." If you watch, I hope you'll see why they are quickly becoming one of my favorite bands in New Jersey.

And as far as Carriage House TV goes, they are just getting better and better. There are lots and lots of web series doing similar things; but, for my money, there are few, if any, that are doing it this well. From the visuals to the sounds to the preparation of the host, everyone involved should be very proud.

Check out Lowlight's episode below. And make sure you go give Carriage House TV a like on Facebook so you can stay up-to-date on new episodes.
