"No Future Part IV: No Future Triumphant"

I Hate to Be Awake

I don't usually like to do this, even though I do it all the time. It's just me here. I don't have a bunch of little content-generating lackeys producing items for me at the rate of five per day each; so, when I do two posts in a row about the same b(r)and, it kind of sticks out. Eh... ...whatever...

Titus Andronicus are masterfully executing a branding strategy that sees them building from Friday night's triumphant return to New York City. Today, they keep the pressure on and stay in front of all of our faces by releasing the video for The Most Lamentable Tragedy track and fourth entry in the "No Future" song cycle, "No Future Part IV: No Future Triumphant."

Honestly, I've been having one of those "I hate to be awake" kind of days (weeks? months?); so I've had this one on a bit of a loop this afternoon. +@ calls the Patrick Stickles-directed / Chris Elia-shot clip "our loving tribute to the city which has been our home and our safe haven, to the rich history and culture which has been our constant source of inspiration and sustenance."

Watch the video.

Buy the merch.

Resistance is futile.
