Brackish and Flyermile Announce Shows with Some of Their (Our) Friends

Holiday Weekender

A pair of Philly bands with New Jersey roots, Brackish and Flyermile, will be celebrating the holidays this year with a pair of December shows in a couple of intimate spaces with several of their friends. You know, the way the holidays should be.

Flyermile consists of Steve Clifford (Circa Survive), Chris Weyh (Killer Bangs), and Jon Colman (Muscle Tough, Kate Faust). While each member comes to Flyermile from other projects, this isn't anyone's side project. It's an entirely new band that has each member's full commitment. Flyermile have an album on the horizon, so stay tuned for more information on that as it becomes available.

Brackish -- Connor Byrne, Nick Rosica, Eric McConathey, and Chris Baranowski -- are riding on the release of their debut EP Young People. Good Sadie Media are releasing the EP on tape along with a very limited run of 7-inches featuring two songs from the set.

Byrne and Clifford both hail from Hamilton, New Jersey and decided to have their bands spend a weekend together around the holidays to create some new memories for everyone involved.

That memory-creating will happen:

December 18th at Fennario in West Chester, PA. Joining the bands there will be Jeff Riddle (The Holy Mess) and The Bella Vista Social Club as well as West Chester / Philly band Alright Junior.

December 19th at Naner Manor in New Brunswick. That show features our good friends YJY along with New Brunswick scene stalwarts Eagle Daddy.

That's two chances for you to spend a cozy, not-so-quiet evening among friends.

Check out the tour poster by Philly's Austin Lotz below. You'll be able to pick up one of the limited run of 40 or so at the shows while they last.
