It's all about timing, you know. Those clever folks over at Carriage House TV, you see, usually release their episodes on the 1st of the month. Maaaaaybe the 2nd day of the month if they get swamped. This time, though, they waited all the way until the 7th to put out their episode with Dentist. Yeah, sure. There was a holiday in there.
You know what I think, though? I think those crafty Carriage House TV people waited until January 7th to release Episode IX: Dentist because of this Indie Pop Winter Formal thing I've been spamming you about for the last couple of weeks. Just go with me on this...
Dentist are playing the Indie Pop Winter Formal at The Saint tomorrow, January 8th. YJY are also on that bill. The guys in YJY have their fingerprints (and, in the case of Steve Sachs, their face) all over this Carriage House TV thing. See, I'm thinking they're trying to drum up a little interest in that show tomorrow. You know. That show that also features our friends in dollys and Paper Streets. The one where everybody is gonna get dressed up like it's a high school dance. That show.
Anyway, I could be wrong. But once you watch the video and hear how great Dentist sound and see how funny and good at Crocodile Dentist Steve Sachs is, you won't be able to resist heading to The Saint tomorrow to catch all the bands live.
