Premiere: New Single from Rocky and The Chapter. EP out 2/24.

"Cracks"

Our friends over at Sniffling Indie Kids document some of New Jersey's best indie rock at a relentless clip. In keeping with that work ethic, they've got another release coming for us at the end of this week. This time, it's the third EP from Rocky and The Chapter, You Are Not Mine. We get a slightly early taste of that record today with the premiere of single "Cracks."

The New Brunswick five-piece, led by Rocky Catanese, are back with their three-guitar assault on "Cracks." The song is a swaying, bouncing example of 90s-influenced altnerna pop. "Cracks" combines elements of jangly indie rock with some obvious influences from Rocky and The Chapter's New Jersey forebears. It's the sweetest, poppiest track on You Are Not Mine but retains enough of a rough edge to fit in with the rest of the songs on the EP.

Have a listen to "Cracks" below and look for You Are Not Mine this Friday.
