I've taken a lot of inspiration from The RockNRoll HiFives over the last several years. Joe, Gloree, Eilee, and Evren are a family who practice, rock, and tour together. They take the joy they derive from all of that and spread it around to the rest of the world through their music. It was truly an honor to have them play the CoolDad Music 5th Anniversary party back in March, and it's even cooler that we've become good friends as we've each moved along on our journeys with this music stuff.

The band headed into the studio once again last week with Moonlight Mile Recording's Mike Moebius to lay down the tracks for their next release. They invited me to come spend some time with them there; and I had the chance to sit down and chat with them about what it's like to be in a band with your whole family, life on tourcation, and some upcoming shows. Then, Eilee made a bombshell announcement when she said that people watching the interview would have a chance to win two tickets to see The RockNRoll HiFives open for Austin's A Giant Dog at Monty Hall on September 8th.

So watch this video carefully. At some point during The RockNRoll HiFives' upcoming tourcation, they'll ask a trivia question about the interview.
