Videos: Sharkmuffin, Secretary Legs, Bethlehem Steel, Dentist

Friday Movies

Yesterday, I shared the latest video from Night Birds; and that reminded me of a few new clips I've seen and been meaning to share lately.

Sharkmuffin, "Space Glow"

A trio of silver pineapple aliens trying to blend in. This is off of the recently re-issued Tsuki which comes with two brand new tracks.

Secretary Legs, "Windblown and Well Versed"

Being slippery is in a banana peel's nature -- kind of like the scorpion in that little fable about the scorpion and the frog (look it up). But we all have room in our hearts to forgive. One of the best songs of 2018 from one of my favorite records, Cool Myths.

Bethlehem Steel, "Florida 2"

I'm actually kind of on the ball with this one, since the band just released it. "Florida 2" is off of Party Naked Forever, one of those albums I've really enjoyed and been meaning to say something about for a while now. Beautifully discordant and backed by solid songwriting like the rest of the album.

Dentist, "Night Swimming"

I shared this one as part of my review of Dentist's latest album. This is the title track. Emily feeling kind of invisible in social situations. One of the great regrets of my life is not being able to make it to the shoot for this one.
