Ides of September
We're kind of right in the thick of things already here at CDMHQ: School, swimming, shows. Lots of juggling. Lots of conflicts. We always seem to make it work somehow. I hope your start to the fall has been uneventful.
Lots of cool stuff this weekend. I'll be heading to Brooklyn tonight to catch Sarah Shook & The Disarmers for the first time since SXSW. There's another installment of Let's Get Folked Up! tonight at Langosta. Little Dickman have a show at The Saint tomorrow featuring Miami's Jacuzzi Boys. Saturday was gonna be Jawbreaker on the Summer Stage, but that got canceled given the travel concerns surrounding Hurricane Florence (stay safe NC fam). Instead, The Black Clouds headline a show inside the venue. On Sunday, Dentist open for Clap Your Hands Say Yeah at HOI. And, if you missed Hurry Up at Asbury Park Brewery last night (...and, inexplicably, you did.), you have another chance to catch them at Everybody Hits in Philly on Sunday.
Lots of cool stuff. Get to a show. Don't drink and drive.
