Official End of Summer
We had summer. We had the Unofficial End of Summer. We had / are having Local Summer. Come 3:50am on Monday, though, it's all over. Take advantage of the nice weather for one, last summer blast.
Lost In Society play AP Brewery on Thursday with Divided Heaven and The Fullers. Witch Taint come to The Saint with help from The Ribeye Brothers. The Aquabats are at The Stone Pony.
On Friday, Dentist celebrate their upcoming national tour with a kickoff party at APYC. The Tide Bends join them for that one. Also on Friday, Orville Peck plays a sold-out Music Hall of Williamsburg and Yawn Mower open for The Wrecks at Wonder Bar. Low Cut Connie and The Vaughns play House of Independents.
Dave Hause and a bunch of his friends play HOI on Saturday. Austin's Black Pumas play The Saint. Francie Moon hold a record release party at Trans-Pecos in Queens with Sharkmuffin, Daddies, and Fughawee Hunting Club. Cat Power is at Webster Hall on Sunday.
There's also a big festival in Asbury Park on Saturday and Sunday that doesn't really need any help from me. It's important to point out, though, that Lowlight hit the stage in Bradley Park at 1:45pm on Sunday. Brick + Mortar play on the beach at 12:30.
There also may or may not be something called the See Ya Later Festival taking place at The Legendary Wells Fargo. Sponsored by Moon Cheese Records, it allegedly features bands like Dorito Cancer, Shartnado, Turtle Head, Eddie Bills, and Mulch. You can contact Mulch for all of the info on that one.
