Swim
We're all recovered from CoolDaughter #2's bat mitzvah festivities, I think. This weekend, we have CoolDaughter #1's big winter swim meet. That means early mornings and lots of waiting around for just a few minutes' worth of swimming. Fun.
Anyway.
Good stuff this weekend with The Red Room's release show with Spookey Ruben at Brighton Bar on Thursday. Also on Thursday, Beach Slang play a free show at Philly's Underground Arts with Pkew Pkew Pkew. On Friday the 13th, Yawn Mower play The Chubby Pickle with Marc Tappan and Wetbrain. The Bouncing Souls are in Philly at TLA. Our friends at Pop Break host their annual Christmas Party and Toy Drive at Convention Hall on Saturday with Lowlight, GayGuy/StraightGuy, The Clydes, and Lou Montesano. Also on Saturday, Dentist head up to Brooklyn for a show at Baby's All Right with Honduras and The Zings. The Original Misfits are at Wells Fargo in Philly. Fred Armisen is at Asbury Lanes on Sunday.
