Hot Blood Premiere New Video, Shot At Red Bank Rehearsal Studios

"Blood On My Hands"

I had a great time at the Johnny Marr concert. I really did. Wouldn't have missed it. The whole time, though, I had this little thought in the back of my mind: "Hot Blood are shooting their video over at Red Bank Rehearsal Studios." Johnny went on later than I thought he would, though. We had a babysitter. It just wasn't in the cards for me.

Now, though, we get an excellent document of what I missed as Hot Blood premiered "Blood On My Hands" today over at Dying Scene. "Blood On My Hands" is the first taste of the new material on Hot Blood's forthcoming Overcome Pt. 1 EP. Produced by The Bouncing Souls' Pete Steinkopf, the track shows that Hot Blood aren't letting up one bit when it comes to raging against some of the injustices they see in our society.

Directed by Sergio Casal and Rick Cook, the video for "Blood On My Hands" features some familiar faces as well as a blistering, crowd surfing guitar solo from Plato Zorba's / Black Flamingos' Robert Butkowski. It does a nice job of capturing the feeling of a live Hot Blood show.

Watch the video below and be sure to catch Hot Blood on December 14th as part of the Little Dickman Records / CoolDad Music holday show and on December 18th when they play The Stone Pony as part of the lineup for the 22nd annual Asbury Music Awards. Go grab a copy of their debut LP on Little Dickman Records, No Kings, while you're at it.
