Premiere: New Single from Tribal Days

"Conjugal Visit Child"

New Jersey's Tribal Days have a new album coming out in a few weeks. The band have put out a few releases since 2012, and Laughing at the Funeral will be the last before they go on "indefinite hiatus." Today we have the first single from that album, "Conjugal Visit Child."

The track is soaring and ambient indie pop that features the intertwining vocals of Chris Gennone and Jami Garey. It floats and twists along on the guitar work of Gennone and Andrew Merclean. Merclean also handled engineering duties with the hard-working Max Rauch. James Ryskalchick mastered, and Josh Meakim of dream pop band A Sunny Day In Glasgow took care of the mixing.

If Laughing at the Funeral is to be the last we hear from Tribal Days for a while, "Conjugal Visit Child" makes it sound like they'll be going out on a high.

You can stream "Conjugal Visit Child" right here. The track is available as a Name Your Price download over at Tribal Days' Bandcamp page.
