Monday PunkI promised to get a little better at telling you about any interesting, non-weekend shows that hit our area. Well, hardcore super-group OFF! are making a stop at Asbury Lanes tonight along with Cerebral Ballzy and NASA Space Universe to add some heat to this already warm Monday evening. Fronted by former Black Flag / Circle Jerks frontman, Keith Morris, OFF! also feature Dimitri Coats (Burning Brides) on guitar, Steven McDonald (Redd Kross) on bass, and Mario Rubalcaba (Rocket From The Crypt / Hot Snakes / Earthless) on drums.
OFF! are touring in support of their third full-length, Wasted Years, and continue to show that the style of music that Morris helped invent more than 30 years ago remains more than relevant today. Looks like doors are at 7:30, and tickets will run you $20 on the door.
Aren't familiar with OFF!? Well, you've still got plenty of time before the show to get through the band's entire discography. It should only take you about an hour, so get to it.
