The Front Bottoms Announce New EP, Share Lyric Video

Rose

It's turning into New Jersey Day here at CoolDad Music.

Much-beloved acoustic pop punks, The Front Bottoms, today announced that June 17th will see the release of a new EP of six "previously unreleased fan favorites" via Bar/None. The EP's title, Rose, is a tribute to drummer Mat Uychich's grandmother and marks the first release in a planned series honoring The Front Bottoms' grandmas.

To coincide with the announcement, the band have also released a lyric video for Rose track "Jim Bogart." The recorded version has a nice little Los Campesinos! male / female vocal thing going on. Based on my experiences at a couple of Front Bottoms shows, I'm not sure a lyric video is really necessary as I don't think the crowd ever misses a single word.

Rose
"Flying Model Rocket"
"Lipstick Covered Magnet"
"Be Nice To Me"
"Awkward Conversations"
"12 Feet Deep"
"Jim Bogart"

UPDATE (5/22): The female voice you hear belongs to Dollys' Natalie Newbold.
