New Beach Slang. It's Part of a Benefit Compilation.

"Too Late to Die Young"

Philadelphia. I'm telling you. There's some really cool stuff happening in the City of Brotherly Love. Yesterday, I shared with you the new video from one of my 2014 favorites, Philadelphia's Cayetana. Today, going through my email, I found the new track from my other favorite of 2014, Beach Slang -- also from Philadelphia.

"Too Late to Die Young" once again delivers the urgency and emotion that make both of Beach Slang's 7-inches must listens. It's part of a compilation from Lame-O Records that also features Modern Baseball, Spraynard, The Weaks, Marietta, and Hurry called Strength in Weakness. All proceeds from the comp go to benefit United Cerebral Palsy, so you should definitely pony up the $5 to get this really solid collection.

You have two chances to see Beach Slang in Asbury Park when they return to Asbury Lanes in support of Cursive on March 8th and when Skate & Surf comes back to Asbury on May 15th-17th (set times TBA).
