So, how have you been enjoying this fall weather we've had the last few days? Have your teachers been piling on the homework already? When the weather cools off and school heats up, you'll be begging for sweltering beach days again. Trust me.

On Thursday night, Sniffling Indie Kids take over The Dopeness as NGHTCRWLRS and LKFFCT are joined by The Vaughns and Fairmount. Just across Hudson County, our friends YJY play Maxwell's Tavern with David Pollack, Sweet Stoya, and Fond Han. Closer to home, Dublin's Pugwash come to the saint with The Anderson Council and The Lord Calverts. The probably extremely weird Mac Sabbath take over Wonder Bar.

Friday is a big night as Mephiskapheles, Inspecter 7 and The Ladrones hit Asbury Lanes. Mad Feather Group play APYC with Bone & Marrow, while Thomas Wesley Stern play across the way at Langosta. The Maine play a free show at Gamechanger World in Howell. Hot Blood journey to Tromaville in Bruns for a show with US Nero, Mountain Chiefs, and Pa Angelo. The Alliance Singers are at The Stone Pony. Speak Into My Good Eye kick off this year's 24-hour songwriting challenge with a show at Wonder Bar featuring Roy Orbitron, YJY, Thee Idea Men, Paper Jets, and Julian Fulton. Titus Andronicus kick off the #TMLT Around the World Tour with a sold-out show at Philly's First Unitarian Church.

Chemtrail play APYC on Saturday. Gravity Well celebrate the release of their latest CD at Brighton Bar. Wreaths play Langosta with Stained Glass. Bus Buddies reunite for a show at Montclair's Meatlocker with a whole bunch of other bands. Darlene Love & Steve Van Zandt play The Paramount in Asbury. The Saint hosts Asbury UkeFest featuring Fun While You Wait, Cousin Earth, Motion Ocean, 1L, and Colin Coleman.

Also on Saturday, Don Giovanni Records host their annual free, outdoor show in New Brunswick's Boyd Park with Screaming Females, Downtown Boys, Izzy True, Glazer, Wild Rice, Delucy, and Electric Trip. There's an after-party at Glitterbox with The Great Depression, Morus Alba, Raymond Strife, and Sad Lips.

The Obvious headline Asbury Lanes on Sunday with American Pinup, Lyons, and Freakabout. The Saint has The Nightowls and Matt Wade Band.

I'm planning on seeing a couple of my absolute most favoritest bands this weekend. I hope you have just as much fun as I'm planning.
