Did I ever tell you about our Spring Break vacation debacle? I must have, right? Well, today is the do-over. Everyone's documents are in order and we head off to Paris tonight and London later in the week. I'll pop in here from time to time, but things may be pretty quiet. For those sticking around, there's plenty to do this weekend.

The Free Jams on the Sand series continues at Anchor's Bend on Thursday with Big Sam's Funky Nation. Glenn Tilbrook is at House of Independents. Seaside Caves come back to The Saint with The Extras Inc., Frank The Baptist, and The Escape. Our good buddies in Paper Streets celebrate the release of Simple Silver Stars at Shea in Brooklyn with Walter Etc., Blowout, and Broken Beak. Sharkmuffin play Alphaville in Brooklyn with Sic Tic, THICK, and Lutkie. Prince Rama play Monty Hall with Hey Anna.

On Friday, Hot Blood venture out to Amityville for a show with Discolor, Fall 85, Dead of Winter, and Broken Bay Coalition. Semiotics are at Don Pedro's in Brooklyn with steve., GLF, and Cold Wrecks. It's a great show at The Saint with Prince Rama and Wrinkles. Emily Grove does Joni Mitchell at Tim McCloone's Supper Club. YJY hold their own release party for The Same Noise at New Brunswick's J House with The Vaughns, NGHTCRWLRS, and SICK SHIT.

On Saturday, The Battery Electric boys are back on the boards for a free show at APYC with Cicada Radio and Crazy & The Brains. Accidental Seabirds are next door at Langosta. Flogging Molly, Frank Turner, and Chuck Ragan are on the Summer Stage. The Vansaders release their latest, This Time Around, inside the Pony before the main event along with The Fullers. Deaf Rhino are back at Maxwell's Tavern. Dentist head up to NYC for a show with Coastgaard, Surf Rock Is Dead, and Little Racer at Le Poisson Rouge.

YJY continue their weekend release party at Philly's Barbary on Sunday with NGHTCRWLRS and Moonroof. Darkwing are at The Meatlocker with GHyp:See & The Wichts, Anthony Carrera, and Electric Trip. Yawn Mower play Scarlet Pub in New Brunswick with Fun While You Wait and Sentient Moss.

There's a whole bunch of stuff going on. I'll miss you, but I should have some stuff up here from friends at various points during the trip. And I promise there will be listings next week. I'm on a streak.
