Promo Time: Bond St. Block Party & The North Jersey Indie Rock Festival (Year 2)

GayGuy / StraightGuy return to the free and fun Bond St. Block Party this weekend.

Come Say Hi

Just a quick note about a pair of jam-packed days I'll be involved with in the coming weeks.

First, this Saturday, September 16th, brings the return of the annual Bond St. Block Party. The event takes place on the street right out in front of everybody's favorite, Fireball-free watering hole, Asbury Park's Bond St. Bar. This year's line-up is stacked from top to bottom as you can see by the poster.

It's a free and family-friendly event (with a 21+ afterparty in the basement). Things get started at 1pm, and you can RSVP over at the official event page.

Then, next Saturday, September 23rd, The North Jersey Indie Rock Festival is back for its second go-round at Jersey City's Cathedral Hall. The festival has expanded this year to include Jersey Labels Bar / None Records, Killing Horse Records, and Little Dickman Records in addition to our friends and co-founders of the festival Sniffling Indie Kids and Mint 400.

This is another all-day event kicking off at 11am and featuring friends of this space like Fruit & Flowers, The RockNRoll HiFives, Dentist, Psychiatric Metaphors, The Brixton Riot, and many, many more. Check out the official event page or the poster for the full list of bands and vendors.

I'll be at both events, taking probably too many pictures. On the 23rd, I'll also be introducing a couple of bands TBD. Watch this space for more info, and come out to both of these. I'd love to see you.
