September's ending. Fall things like school and swimming and karate are in full swing here at CDMHQ. Playoff baseball is on the horizon. Eventually, it will cool off. But none of that stops the shows from happening.

It's a busy Thursday night. The Morelings, Holiday, Woven In, and Brother Andrew play Asbury Park Brewery. Wire kick off their 3-night residency at Brooklyn's Baby's All Right. The Church and The Helio Sequence play Brooklyn's Bell House. Boontunes has The Few and Far, Kate Dressed Up, The City Limit, Smock, and Jean Pool. Nervous Triggers join The Vibrators at The Brighton Bar in Long Branch with The Sacred and Infant Mortality. Screaming Females kick off their tour with Street Eaters at Johnny Brenda's in Philly. Charly Bliss come home to Brooklyn with a show at Music Hall of Williamsburg that also features Sad13 and Bellows. Scotland's Trashcan Sinatras come to The Saint for a very special stop on their "All Night Acoustic Tour." Whiner, Darkwing, Ghost King, and Shred Flintstone play The Meatlocker.

On Friday, The Asbury hosts Jesse Elliot, Brian Erickson, and Owassa. Hot Blood, Posers, Execütors, Coward, and Secretary Legs take over Asbury Park Brewery. Daft Punk cover band, One More Time, play House of Independents. The Lemon Twigs hit The Stone Pony with Cut Worms. Dinosaur Jr. play Philly's Union Transfer. Kip Winger is at Wonder Bar.

Charley Crockett plays the brewery on Saturday night. Also on Saturday, Archie Alone celebrate the release of their latest EP at The Meatlocker with Entia, Control, and Only Sibling. The Cold Seas hold a release party of their own at The Saint with Lyons, Neaux*Neaux, and Bl_nk Sp_c_s. Emily Grove, The Cranston Dean Band, and Zach Westfall play Saturday afternoon at Transparent Clinch. Stiff Little Fingers, Death By Unga Bunga, and Crazy & The Brains play a sold-out Wonder Bar.

Mitski is at the relatively new White Eagle Hall in Jersey City on Sunday. Rocky & The Chapter, Modern Crowds, and latewaves play Scarlet Pub.
