Northside Festival
Brooklyn's Northside Festival returns this weekend with shows from Snail Mail, Liz Phair, Ought, Lou Barlow, Parquet Courts, and lots more. I'll be humping it back and forth to Brooklyn over the next few days in between softball games, family events, and local shows. Rosi Lamela will be there, too; so make sure to give us each a follow on Instagram (@cooldadmusic + @rosi_music79) if you wanna see what we're up to.
Other than that, it's a generally pretty busy weekend locally, too. Aftermath Collective really scored a coup getting Snail Mail for the brewery on Saturday (sold out, obviously); and our super buds, The RockNRoll Hi-Fives, managed to snag the opening slot.
