God Makes Junk

Labor Day Weekend. I hope all of your summer dreams came true. Sitting at the kitchen table in West Seattle, near Alki Beach right now; and it's a miracle that I got this done.

Just a couple of recommendations for you: Ultra Major are releasing their new record at Coney Island Baby on Thursday with help from Yawn Mower (featuring birthday boy, Biff Swenson) and -- coincidentally -- Birthday Boy. On Friday, Long Neck and Fern Mayo are at Asbury Park Brewery with Fleabite and Rest Ashore. Exmaid, Hysteria, Swamp City Rockers, and Crooked Spine play Creative Space (ask a punk) on Saturday. Ramoms are at Little Buddy Hideaway in Asbury on Sunday.

Also on Saturday, CoolDad Music is bringing you the Roadside Graves' release show for God Makes Junk at Asbury Park Yacht Club. Our friends Lowlight and Coach 'N Commando are also on that one, and it promises to be a great welcome home party for yours truly. Would love to see you there.
