First Half Hair

Yesterday was a good day. I felt kind of bad about not getting anything up on the site, but I did take a long bike ride. Then I spent the afternoon with CoolDad Music contributor and super solid bud, Allyson Dwyer. Came home and made a legit dinner for the entire family and started compiling the "Rock and Roll Hair" post for the first half of 2017.

This one includes some shots from SXSW back in March. The RockNRoll Hi-Fives, with a whole bunch of shows in March and April, just edged out Thelma & The Sleaze and Ruby The Hatchet by a score of 3-2 in the number of appearances. Also making it this time around are Fruit & Flowers, Charly Bliss, Screaming Females, Beach Slang, Mastodon, and more. We've got farewells to much-beloved bands here at CoolDad Music, dollys and The Everymen. No sadness, though. This post is supposed to be fun.
